Welcome aboard our home port: Algonac, Michigan. Early April I start in the Detroit River jigging for spawning walleyes. On these trips you can expect to catch fish up to 8 lbs., a 12 lb. trophy is not out of the question. As the water begins to warm and post spawn fish begin to move into Lake St. Clair we begin jig fishing the St. Clair River. We follow them all along the St. Clair Flats working the tight drop offs and slower current breaks. This makes for secluded fishing off the main lake, away from most of the heavy boat traffic. Bring a camera...there are many opportunities to photograph some of the many waterfowl species. Our goal is not only to send you home with a cooler full of fish but also to have a safe and memorable experience.
